Once you have built your HTML template and added Taxi Syntax, it's time to set up your template in Taxi.
Navigate to Templates in the top navigation bar.
Navigate to Custom Templates, and click on the option to upload a new template.
Enter your template details. Name is required, description is optional but recommended.
There are two ways to upload a template into Taxi:
Once you have selected or pasted in your HTML click Create Template.
Taxi will now scan your code for errors and issues. Errors flagged as red must be fixed before you can proceed. Orange issues are advisory. Note that your code must include some Taxi Syntax.
Taxi will then scan your code for any images. If you have hosted images elsewhere or uploaded them in a zip file, you have the option to import them to Taxi CDN.
Taxi will then load your template into the library. This process can take up to 20 seconds.
Note: Depending on your organisation's subscription, the amount of templates you can upload, and their HTML file size may be restricted.
The process for updating an existing template is very similar to uploading a new one.
Navigate to the Templates section on the main navigation and find the Template you wish to update. On the settings button, click Upload/Paste new HTML.
Then follow the steps above.
